No complaints, and I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone else looking for a reasonable mid-line shower radio. We've only had this for a couple weeks, but my husband is loving it and listening to the radio every morning in the shower. Volume is good, tone is clear, great to have so many presets available.
The problem with the previous two I owned is that the membrane that covers the radio top controls wears out too quickly. Good radio with good reception. This is the third one I've owned.
The radio works perfect, the only downpoint are the batteries (size C) are not the most commercial.
This has always been my problem with other shower radios. The radio is placed on a cut-out area in my tiled wall in the shower so it's easy to use and see the digital display.
and I'm not surprised that their quality is well done here. I've always been a Sony fan with TV's etc.
This radio exceeded my expectations as soon as I programmed my favorite FM and AM stations and placed the radio in the shower. The volume is also easy to adjust and more than adequate as it uses "C" cell batteries instead of the usual "AA" cells in most radios.
Enjoy. After re-positioning the short antenna wire with its suction cup, all but one distant station came in great.
Having a digital tuner and buttons for exact and easy station selection is just fantastic.
turned on the weather band, and then the radio wouldnt shut off. Then it wouldnt shut off, and I couldnt even set the clock, which was blinking.
This is why I usually buy from a local store instead of online. Three sets of batteries and still the same.
Not happy- after receiving it, I set the clock and turned on the radio. A few hours later it seemed all right, but locked up again the next time i pressed the weatherband button.
Im stuck having to send it to sony and wait. great.
I had to pull the batteries.
